Tour d’Allemagne

An exciting week in Germany lies ahead of me: I’ll be participating in a workshop on “Theoretical and Empirical Advances in IPE Research” at the Collaborative Research Center (SFB 884) on the Political Economy of Reforms, hosted at my former alma mater in Mannheim; and, I’ll be attending the PEIO conference in Berlin at the Hertie School of Governance. Programs for both events can be found here (SFB workshop) and here (PEIO conference).

MPSA Conference 2015

My paper on “Scientific Advisory Bodies and International Cooperation” was accepted for next year’s 73rd Annual MPSA Conference in Chicago, April 16-19, 2015. I also look forward to chairing a panel on “Collective Action” from the “Formal Modeling” Section. This promises to be an exciting conference. So, see you there!

Paper accepted for PEIO 2015

My paper joint with Thomas König (University of Mannheim) and Brooke Luetgert (Sabanci University) titled “Bargaining under Uncertainty: An Empirical Analysis of Changes in Government Positions at the Nice Intergovernmental Conference” was accepted for presentation at the 8th Political Economy of International Organizations (PEIO) Conference, to take place at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin, February 12-14, 2015.

Paper accepted for ISA 2015

My paper on the role of information dissemination through scientific advisory bodies and international cooperation has been accepted for next year’s Annual Convention of the International Studies Association (ISA), to take place February, 18-21 2015 in New Orleans. The paper is part of Panel FD47 on “Climate Change Politics: Diagnosing Obstacles and Exploring Possible Solutions.” I look forward to this event, the discussions, and the academic exchange.
